We set out to review the Logitech USB Headset H530 with Premium-Tuned Audio to see if it passed our strict assessment. The first aspect of the headset that caught our eyes was the price. For a USB headset with laser-tuned audio and plenty of other great features, it surprised us that the price was in fact as low as it was. It also made us a little wary. After all, you typically  what you pay for. Was the low price a beacon telling us not to bother We decided to test the headset to find out.Sound Quality The industry leading test we perform on all headsets directly out of the gate is the sound quality.

Not only the sound quality coming in through the ear pieces but also the sound going out through built in microphone. With the Logitech USB Headset H530, we just plugged the USB cord into our PC and tested it using various mediums. We played an MP3 to test how music sounds coming through the headset, we played a movie and we also made a few VOIP calls. This test helped us determine that, surprisingly, the Logitech USB Headset H530 sounds amazingly clear and crisp. Music and movies sound great and our voices even sounded great on each of our Internet phone callsfortSound is most important when it comes to a good headset, but comfort is a close second. After all, gamers and movie watchers, and even people making VOIP calls may wear their headsets for hours at a time.

If the Logitech USB Headset H530 turned out to be uncomfortable, we wouldn't have been able to recommend it, even though the sound is top-notch.What we found was a headset that is a delight to wear for hours on end. In fact, after a while you for it is on your head. The headset itself is comprised of an adjustable, padded headband that can be completely customized to fit your head. The ear cups are also made of plush, so they wrap around your ear like a warm blanket, drowning out all  sound.

Draw backs even though the Logitech USB Headset H530 passed our sound and comfort tests with flying colors, we can't complete this review without listing some of the drawbacks we found while using the headset for various activities. First of all, we found the Logitech H530 to be quite bulky for a good set of headphones. Other USB headphones seem to be ting smaller, while this model seems to be a little heavier than it needs to be. The padding and customizability make it comfortable, but after too long you might begin to feel the weight of the set on your skull and neck.

The only other drawback we found was that the headset doesn't have industry leading Wideband Audio like other headsets do, which makes for very clear Internet calls. While our voices did sound great on the H530, we already had a sense that it wasn't as good as it could be had Logitech decided to go with industry leading Wideband.Other than that, the Logitech USB Headset H530 is very inexpensive for all that you , it's comfortable and you can tailor it specifically for your head. All that, and the laser-tuned high-clarity audio makes this headset a great buy for your money.
